Who we are

Kerslake Consulting was started by Rowena Kerslake after having worked as a CEO in large charities for over 20 years. Rowena's passion for supporting people and businesses to achieve success has led to the development of this consultancy; Rowena wants to share her knowledge and expertise with others in a way she would have valued as a busy charity CEO.

Rowena's qualifications include an MBA, Advanced Executive Coach, and ILM Level 7 Coaching. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Suffolk.

Rowena loves working with people and is a practical and innovative leader. In her working life, her leadership has enabled and empowered teams to deliver at the top of their game. Now her consultancy is ready to support you and your teams to achieve the outcomes and successes you aspire to.

Our services

Executive and Life Coaching: Are you leading an organisation or team and wondering where to go next, or whether you are doing the right thing? Does your head feel like a filing cabinet that hasn't been sorted for some time? We can help with that! Our expertise can bring clarity to the most difficult of situations, help you decide your priorities and energise you into starting those tasks that have been the subject of your procrastinations for too long. We call it Executive and Life Coaching because life and work are usually intertwined; you don't have one without the other and often the coaching is helpful to both.
Leadership & Management Training: Our leadership and management training is bespoke to you and your organisation. We will meet with you and find out what you need to achieve and then put a package together specifically to meet your outcomes. This may be coaching for a group of your leadership and management team, taking place over a compressed period or a year or more. It may be specific training sessions on management, leadership, managing through coaching, team building and many other options that we can build for you. Suffice to say, you will not pay for training you do not need - we will put together the training that works for you and your budget.
Strategy Development: We specialise in developing organisational cultures that work. This includes working with teams, including Boards, to build strategy that works. Strategy is no longer a linear activity that starts today and finishes in 3 years, but an agile, interactive and empowering driver of business. It is the road map that helps you find your way, sets the vision and tone of the organisation and we can help you develop that. It is a process that takes time, so don't expect a strategy to appear in one session. It is worth the cost, effort and time that it takes however and will ensure your organisation is facing a positive and constructive future. Let us help you find the way forward for your organisation.
Governance Support: Do you have a Board who are unsure about their role? Do they need training about what it means to be a Trustee, the risk, the responsibility and the rewards? Let us help you with that by delivering a bespoke training session for your Board so that they can be the most support to the organisation they have chosen to take responsibility for. You need your Board to be the most effective it can be - they need to understand how that can happen.
